I'm New! What Can I Expect?
FAQs
What kind of people go to Grace?
What you'll find when you attend Grace is a diverse community where people seek to know God and make Him known. We are young, old, rich, poor and everything in between. But more basic than that, we are sinners saved by grace and welcomed into the Kingdom of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church our whole lives. All are welcome.
What if I'm not used to going to church?
Perfect! We are here to Know God and make Him Known. If you haven’t been to church in a while, or you’re not sure what you think about God, we welcome you here and pray that you will know God through your visit with us.
How long are the services?
Each service lasts for approximately 60-75 minutes. Click here to check out our weekly meeting times.
What about my kids?
Grace is a family-friendly place! We provide free, safe environments for newborns, children, and teens. Infants and toddlers up to four years are cared for by screened volunteers, and kindergarten through fifth grade are taught simple Bible truths through engaging activities. Teens will have a chance to fellowship with their peers while learning God's Word.

How should I dress?
You are welcome to wear whatever you'd like. There is no set dress code, although, for the most part, the attire is more on the casual side. Just be you. Come as you are.
Will I be singled out?
No. We do not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, give a testimony, come to the front, or anything like that.
Will I be asked to give money?
No. We have a brief offering time every week but you are certainly not expected to give (though you are welcome to). Giving is something for members, regular attenders, or those who have joined in the mission of Grace Baptist.
What are the sermons like?
We preach the Bible, mostly verse-by-verse and book-by-book. We believe the Bible contains a more gripping story and satisfying solution to life's troubles than the false promises of self-help styled lectures. We've found that preaching this way keeps us from avoiding hard topics and increases our trust in God's Word to transform lives.

What is the music like?
We normally sing a combination of contemporary styled worship songs and traditional hymns. Our primary concern is that whatever the musical style, we are singing together about who God is and what He’s done for us.
